Sara is a little girl. She is six years old. She has short brown hair. She lives with her mom and dad. Their house has a small garden.

One morning, Sara plays in the garden. The sun is bright. The sky is blue. Sara sees something new. It is small. It is orange and black. It flies near the flowers.

Sara looks. Sara says, "What is this?"

She walks close. She looks again. "It is a butterfly!" she says. The butterfly flies to a red flower. It sits on the flower. Sara smiles.

"Hello, butterfly," Sara says. The butterfly does not answer. It just sits there. Sara sits down too. She watches the butterfly. Its wings are orange. Its wings have black lines.

The butterfly flies again. It flies to a yellow flower. Sara follows it. She walks slowly. She does not want to scare it.

Sara sees something new again. It is small. It is green. It sits on a leaf.

Sara looks. Sara says, "What is this?"

"It is a little frog!" she says. The frog jumps. Sara laughs. She claps her hands.

The butterfly flies up, up, up. It flies over the fence. It flies away.

Sara waves. "Goodbye, butterfly!" she says. "Thank you for playing with me."

Mom calls from the house. "Sara! Lunch is ready!"

Sara runs inside. She has a big smile. Today was a good day. She saw a butterfly. She saw a frog. She had fun in the garden.

Sara looks at her mom. Sara says, "What is this?" Mom laughs. "It is your favorite soup!" she says.

Sara eats her lunch. She is happy. Tomorrow, she wants to play in the garden again. Maybe she will see something new again.

See you next time!
